THE PRIMAL KITCHEN GIVEAWAY IS STILL RUNNING! One lucky winner will win all of my favorite condiments from Primal Kitchen (dressings, mayo, avocado oil)! I am obsessed with this stuff and can’t live without it. It’s all paleo, super healthy, and oh-so-delicious. To enter, follow @actuallyadultish on Instagram and leave a rating and review on iTunes or Stitcher. Screenshot the rating and review and send it to [email protected] or DM it to me on Instagram! If you’ve already left a rating or review, join our Facebook Group, Actually Adultish Podcast Nation, and write a post in it! Giveaway ends May 29, 2017. The winner will be emailed and announced on Instagram!

For 10% off all things Primal Kitchen, head to bit.ly/primalATL and use the code “ADDICTEDTOLOVELY” at checkout! Dressings, collagen fuel, avocado oil, collagen bars, mayo… you name it. I’m obsessed with Primal Kitchen and can’t get enough, so wanted to share the love.

This week, Danika Miller from iselinandhale.com joins me again to talk about a more serious topic – disordered eating. Danika talks about what it’s like to feel like you’ve lost control of everything in your life and don’t know what to do next. She talks about her experience at her last job in fashion photography and shares what it’s like to have to edit fashion models and morph their bodies. We talk about how editing girls’ bodies and losing her job prompted her to have some disordered thoughts around eating. We talk about losing weight, gaining weight, and why people restrict to feel like they have control. We talk about how restricting your food just harms you in the long run and comes from a place of hate towards yourself, rather than a place of love. You are beautiful just the way you are, and you deserve to show yourself love by nourishing your body – not depriving it. We also talk about passive aggressive girls, chronic exercise, and more.

Make sure you follow Danika on Instagram (@iselinandhale and @itsdanikamiller), and read her blog, iselinandhale.com!
