Hi there! I’m Christina, a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Primal Health Coach, and Reiki Practitioner dedicated to helping you find YOUR version of wellness so you can live your healthiest life. I’m also the host of the Wellness Realness podcast (you might also know me from my previous podcast, Straight Up Paleo), and I’m so excited that you found my little corner of the Internet!

I spent years being the complicated “mystery case” to practitioner after practitioner, struggling to find healing and never getting the help I felt I deserved. Throughout my life, I  battled a number of health issues – leaky gut, Candida overgrowth, food intolerances, SIBO, carbohydrate intolerance, amenorrhea, thyroid problems, unbalanced hormones, Epstein-Barr virus, acne, depression, anxiety, unexplained weight loss, and reactive hypoglycemia, to name a few.  When I felt like the conventional medical system failed me, I decided to take control of my own health. I did my own research, became my own healer, and took a holistic approach to wellness. I finally found a way to live a sustainably healthy lifestyle that was right for my own body.

I grew up eating Toaster Strudels and Ben & Jerry’s on the regular. I thought 100-calorie Oreo packs were healthy snacks, and I never wanted to get up off the couch. I didn’t drink plain water until I was 20 years old, and I wouldn’t touch a vegetable with a ten-foot pole until I got to college. Over time, I found an approachable  way to shift to a whole-foods diet and love my exercise routine, radically transforming my health for the better in the process.

I also understand what it’s like to have a complicated relationship with food, especially as a woman in today’s society. I’ve battled with binge-eating disorder, orthorexia, and exercise addiction, but I eventually found ways to break beyond those limiting mindsets and to develop a healthy relationship with food and exercise. My personal experiences, research, and education have given me extensive knowledge when it comes to nutrition, exercise, and psychological struggles. I have been there, and I am dedicated to helping others find the light, as well.

While I’ve helped clients work through a variety of health struggles, I specialize in gut health, weight management, eating disorders, developing a healthy relationship with food and body image, and leading a generally healthy lifestyle.

My mission is to help you finally take control of your health. I know what it’s like to spend years searching for answers and to be repeatedly let down by the medical system. I know what it’s like to be confused and tempted by all of the health information circulating around on the Internet. I am here to focus on you as a unique individual and to address all of the lifestyle factors that come into play when searching for overall wellness.

Whether you need help cleaning up your diet, getting to the bottom of strange symptoms, learning how to live a healthier lifestyle, or talking through any self-limiting beliefs holding you back, I’m here as your guide, support, and friend. I will work with you one-on-one to create a customized plan that will transform your life and help you feel your absolute best – the way you are supposed to feel!


Over the years, I’ve learned that a holistic approach is crucial to reaching any health goal. You are not a one-dimensional being, and there are so many different aspects to your life that affect your overall health. I’ve tried every diet, workout, supplement, and health trend out there, but over time I realized how unique each person truly is. There is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to health and wellness, and it’s important to take each person’s lifestyle and bio-individuality into account when crafting a wellness plan. I’m here to help you figure out what’s best for you as a unique individual. I don’t put my clients in a box or try to treat them all as the same person. Every person is different, and every person deserves someone who will truly take the time and effort to focus on him or her individually. That is my mission.

I believe in a whole-foods, anti-inflammatory diet, filled with delicious recipes and food freedom. I truly believe that food can heal. I believe that every person is very unique, and their lifestyle should reflect that individuality. I don’t believe there is only one way to live a healthy life, and I don’t promote quick fixes. I want to help you develop a long-term strategy for lasting results. I believe that healthy living can be approachable, sustainable, and a lot of fun. I believe that you deserve ultimate health. And I can help you get there!

I want to support you in any lifestyle changes you wish to make and help make those changes manageable and long-lasting.

What does a nutritional therapy practitioner do?

A Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) is a nutritional therapist certified by the Nutritional Therapy Association who evaluates clients’ nutritional needs and makes recommendations for dietary changes, helping them balance their body chemistry and achieve optimal wellness. NTPs cannot diagnose or treat pathological conditions, illness, injuries, or diseases.

What does a health coach do?

A health coach is a wellness expert who educates, motivates, and guides clients toward lifestyle and behavior choices that help them reach their health and wellness goals. I take a holistic approach, focusing on every aspect of lifestyle including nutrition, fitness, stress management, mental health, and more to help clients create a plan to reach their optimal state of well-being. I see each of my clients as unique individuals, and I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

What kind of services do you provide?

I provide 1:1 video consultations to provide nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle advice to help you reach your health and wellness goals. We can focus on nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle plans, or we can focus on mental health, mindset, and emotions. If you’re interested in finding someone who can help you find your food freedom, create a wellness-focused lifestyle, improve your self love practices and body image, I’m your gal. I also help people work through whatever is holding them back in terms of productivity, organization, and pursuing their dreams when it comes to life and business. I also offer cooking and grocery shopping tutorials, nontoxic beauty consultations, and essential oil consultations.

Do I have to be in your area to work with you?

Not at all! I work with clients all over the United States, and all over the world! I see clients via video or phone.

Do you have any specialties?

While I see clients for a wide variety of health concerns, I specialize in digestion and gut health, healing one’s relationship with food, their body, and/or exercise, and blood sugar regulation / breaking sugar addiction.
